A membership community for the working moms who serve working moms

Our why

Mom Works HQ is a professional membership for working moms in leadership, human resources, or in the mental health field seeking specific strategies, evidenced-based resources, continuing education, and an active peer network to create healthier workplaces and sustainable careers for all working moms - while also keeping a focus on centering our mental health and wellness.

As a working mom, you know both worlds - the busy calendar of meetings, deadlines, and inboxes, and the unpredictable rhythms of pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and parenting through so many stages. That lived intersection is where workplace policy meets personhood, and it’s also where meaningful opportunities for support are missed.

HR teams greatly benefit from mental health informed frameworks to design policies that work for their employees; clinicians feel more supported in client work with a realistic workplace framework so therapy and treatment plans don’t feel as undermined by unsupportive job structures. When those gaps aren’t bridged, caregivers and parents fall tend to fall through: talent is lost, burnout rises, mental health is impacted, and families feel it.

For Leaders & HR Professionals

Blending workplace mental-health expertise with perinatal insight means building benefits, accommodations, leaves and manager practices that measurably boost team performance. It moves conversations from reactive “fixes” to proactive systems - clear return-to-work plans, scalable accommodation templates, and psychologically safe manager practices that keep high performers connected and productive instead of unvalued and overloaded.

For Mental Health Professionals

Viewing perinatal mental health through workplace mental health informed training supports mothers in their career development. Therapy that understands how workplace design, manager responses, and organizational norms affect postpartum recovery and functioning helps client outcomes. Clinicians who translate clinical recommendations into negotiable workplace accommodations or evidence-based policy language increase client outcomes and create sustainable support.

This membership is built by and for professionals who are also navigating working motherhood

The tools are relevant, tested, and realistic. You’ll get clinically grounded trainings about the intersection of workplace mental health and perinatal mental health and the return to work challenges mothers face and consultation that respects time and boundaries.

Most importantly, this is a community that understands the emotional labor behind the balancing of it all. You’ll join peers who get the small, but high-stakes decisions - asking for reduced hours, negotiating a phased return, or coaching a manager on empathetic leadership.

That shared experience shortens the learning curve, reduces isolation, and amplifies impact: better outcomes for employees and clients, stronger organizational practices, and a sustainable professional life that honors parenthood instead of penalizing it.

This is the Work

Working motherhood is complex: competing demands, shifting identities, and systems that weren’t built for thriving parents. Organizations holistically benefit from relevant policies and emotionally intelligent leaders. Clinicians benefit from workplace fluency while supporting their clients.

The Mom Works HQ membership closes that gap - so you can protect your wellbeing, influence policy, and do meaningful work while centering your mental health and wellness as a working mom.
